ㅤbiography.ㅤ Seda’ra Tibariah was born in New Sharlyan in 1546 (With the assumed present year being 1582 as of DT) to the Tibariah family. His mother, Seda Tibariah worked as a merchant along with his father, Ime’a Tibariah. Their family was rather large, with five boys and two girls. Seda’ra was the youngest of the boys and had a twin sister, Sahja. The children all received a lower-level education, up until the Exodus to Old Sharlayan occurred.

At the time, he was only about sixteen when the decision to abandon the colony was approved. He had just nearly finished his preliminary education in the Studium in New Sharlayan. However, with the exodus he was forced to finish his education at the Studium in Old Sharlayan. The change between the two schools was drastic for him, as the Old World pushed an idea of hoarding knowledge instead of sharing it like he had known. Plus, with the move he had begun to feel lost on what he wished to do with his life.

Once he had finished his preliminary studies, Seda’ra went on to study Aetherology and Aetherial Engineering for six years. He had always been fascinated with the lifeblood of Etheirys, but after his six years didn’t feel satisfied. Following this, he quickly began to jump around subjects, taking four years in Soumnautics, and another two years in Astromancy. By the time he had finally finished and formally graduated, he was thirty-two and still lost on what to do with his life.

For the next half a year, he decided he would become a Gleaner to explore and see the rest of the Star! It was a rather short-lived occupation, though, as he quickly grew tired of the demanding workload the Guildship had. Despite this, he valued his time traveling and learning about the various cultures of the star.

After all of this traveling, he settled back down in Old Sharlayan became a professor in Aetherial Engineering, and worked as an Engineer at the Confluence. For the past two years, this has been his work. He had found his passion in teaching and creating, eventually pushing and presenting his Archon Thesis of Aetherotek. After much trial and error, he eventually was accepted as an Archon of Aetherial Engineering and continues to develop his theory on Aetherial Technology.

ㅤAetherotekㅤㅤOpen; AcademicㅤWhile writing his Archon Thesis, Seda'ra created the term 'Aetherotek' to refer to any sort of Aetherial Technology. He spends most of his free time trying to develop this theory, and would gladly talk about it with others!

ㅤStudium ProfessorㅤㅤOpen; AcademicㅤSeda'ra teaches Aetherial Engineering at the Studium within Old Sharlayan. Students and faculty alike would likely recognize him, and may have attended his lectures or study sessions!

ㅤThe TibariahsㅤㅤLimited: Renown in SharlayanㅤThe Tibariah family has become relatively well-known for their mercantile endeavors both in the former colony, and Old Sharlayan.

ㅤSSL TranslatorㅤㅤOpen; Language While attending the Studium years prior, Seda'ra picked up Sharlayan Sign Language and is willing to act as a translator and teacher for those interested.

ㅤWeapon SmithㅤㅤLimited; Private Hobby Before he had declared himself a pacifist, Seda'ra was keenly interested in weaponry, especially firearms. There are rumors that he had once made an aetherically charged rifle!

ㅤField ResearchㅤㅤOpen; Stomping GroundsㅤIt is not uncommon to find the Keeper outside of Old Sharlayan, frequently traveling across the Star to research new technology and other cultures. Though, that mainly acts as an excuse for him to go out and explore. He is commonly found in Northern Eorzea, La Noscea, Islabard, and Thavnair.
